BRASILIA (PNA/Xinhua) - Brazil will have its first nuclear submarine by 2020 if the USD560 million investment pledged by the government is in place in time, local press reported. By 2015, the country will probably have nuclear fuel capabilities to power a submarine if research and development is progressing on schedule, Navy Commander Admiral Julio Soares de Moura told the Federal Senate's Committee for Foreign Relations and National Defense.
